If you’re a movie lover on a budget, mark your calendar for Tuesdays. Cinemark offers its weekly Discount Day every Tuesday at participating locations. Ticket prices range from $1 to $5.75, depending on the location. (There is an upcharge for 3-D films.) The offer is not valid for new movies on opening day, specially priced engagements or on holidays. Plus, the promo price does not include Cinemark XD, Cinemark IMAX or special engagements. Cinemark has theaters in Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virgina, Washington, Wisconsin and West Virginia. Active-duty military personnel and their dependents can receive an America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Annual Pass for FREE (an $80 value). The pass grants them access to more than 2,000 national parks, wildlife refuges and other public lands. In partnership with many U.S. government agencies, the program is part of the Joining Forces initiative’s effort to thank service members and their families for their sacrifices. Military personnel or their dependents can pick up the FREE pass at select national park or wild refuge entrances by showing their military ID. Unfortunately, the program does not apply to military veterans or retirees. For more details on the program, click here.
